Your intuition about this is spot on, that all through history people have been manipulated to do all kinds of things, from behaviors like creating catchphrases that are, at first exposure, outrageous but then seem to seize the public awareness. They become a kind of cultural phenomenon, a preoccupation even almost to a manic level where people will greet one another with a kind of mocking or self-mocking catchphrase that acts as a kind of substitute for normal greetings. So it keeps up the psychological expectation of acknowledgment when encountering another human being, but for a strange practice to intrude is an unexpected turn of events that normally would be questioned or even shunned as a departure from decorum and the cultural expectations well-ingrained over many, many, years. Traditions are usually time-honored and when something is substituted it will go against the grain and will grate on the ear or the eye and the sensorium of many people. So it takes a kind of inner reworking for people to adopt it, both as an initiator as well as an adoptee after encountering its use again and again.
The reality here is that the Extraterrestrial Alliance impulses people at night, surreptitiously, within the deep subconscious mind and thus it grooms people to watch for certain expressions, certain beliefs and practices, and see them approvingly as a sign of importance to them personally. This is how they will tell that someone is acceptable or even especially in the know and a cut above the ordinary. So, at once, it becomes a kind of touchstone and test of awareness and understanding, and embracing it becomes a rite of passage even, because it is promoted in that fashion. People are manipulated to believe if they go along with the new trend they will be better accepted or even a trendsetter themselves and that appeals to their ego and may get a movement started. And it will spread by virtue of new acolytes embracing the idea because they are prompted to do so whether it makes sense or not. Radical changes in fashion are a perfect illustration of this. While everyone likes variety and new things can have a certain appeal, to have something that is seen as outrageous or even unacceptable suddenly spring up, can usually be attributed to a manipulation designed to shake things up, create controversy, and become a kind of divisive intrusion on the established order.
So, by turns, the interlopers have influenced people through mind control to become regimented to follow the leader unerringly, so every man wears top hats, for example, the ladies all wear bustles and other undergarments to create exaggerated changes in the apparent body shape or contour. Necklines, hemlines, and so on, will suddenly undergo a radical change. The magnitude of the change is the tell that it is not simply something perhaps needing a bit of adjustment to rein it in, perhaps. But something dramatic happening to upset the fashion applecart, so to speak, is likely to be an intrusion done as an idle amusement to get people marching to their tune and stirring things up within society because it will tend to be off-putting. Those who embrace radical new things, especially young people, are just more malleable and do not appreciate the impact they will have on their elders by embracing a radical fashion departure from established norms. And they may, in the bargain, be manipulated to like the idea and encouraged to embrace the role of disruptor when presented to them as a way to get attention, be a leader in choosing something new and different, and so forth.
There are always multiple pros and cons that are emphasized in the manipulation. Those who are eager for variety and are self-confident will often go with the radical change quite readily. Those who are more reserved and perhaps self-conscious more than average will be shocked by something new and daring and will shun it because they feel intimidated taking on the role of innovator, knowing it will put them on display and garner unusual scrutiny and perhaps rejection as they encounter others. Those who are domineering and like the idea of having something special about themselves that sets them apart, will embrace such things and those who have a tendency to feel superior and even bully or intimidate others will flaunt radical change in the face of those they encounter because it appeals to the ego that is been stroked by the interlopers to think such choices and conduct are a good idea that will serve them. So as with all manipulations, it is always a multi-focused campaign that will appeal to both sides of an issue and designed to ramp up and harden the individual perspectives to cause a clash. And that is what the interlopers enjoy the most, shaking things up and making people uneasy. To the extent they dupe them into following silly notions and trends, they will further enjoy seeing them eventually collapse under their own weight and be rejected. The many adherents who, once again, follow the herd in abandoning the newfangled notion, will look back with regret and embarrassment about what they were once doing and how immature or gullible it makes them feel. Round and round you go, always in tow by the Extraterrestrial Alliance and that is the way they like it.
