Your best defense includes a growing understanding, but much beyond that what is most effective, and always needed in the end, is becoming more and more in divine alignment through not simply gaining knowledge and awareness of the problem but having enough healing take place there is a return of morality through an infusion of love coming through the pipeline being restored, at least enough to begin inner stirrings and a resurrection of what is possible for a person to recover in terms of higher moral perspectives and conduct. Yours, as with enlightenment as a whole, is a journey of self-discovery only possible to achieve through healing what keeps you in a state of corruption, confusion, uncertainty, or disarray, and the learning of what not to do through misconduct, if it is found to be rewarding and is embraced through faulty thinking as being the way to succeed when confronted by serious life obstacles. Many give in to self-preservation as the imperative at the expense of their own soul by engaging in immoral acts and thoughts. Life is filled with such choices. From day to day, hour to hour, and even minute to minute, you may be moving closer or away from us through your flow of thoughts, feelings, and actions. Everything is a test and a function of the presence or absence of divinity. Getting better, more successful in life, will happen with return to divine alignment to a greater degree. Life gets easier when the love flows because love is the greatest healer and change agent.
