DWQA QuestionsCategory: MetaphysicsFriendships on Earth usually center around a common theme of some kind. For some friendships of long duration, the history of the friendship itself can take over as a “theme” as the decades go by and common interests and pursuits become less and less. Are friendships in the light largely governed by similar considerations?

The major difference between where you are and being in the light as a light being is the degree of freedom allowed in the circumstances of existence. The physical realm is quite constrained. You are confined to a physical body, dependent on its needs for air, food, and water with a quite limited range of movement, being anchored by gravity, limited by strength and endurance, and circumscribed by a very short lifespan relative to the light being who is enjoying part of a continuum that is infinite in whatever it might be doing. So it is really not possible to imagine as a physical human what this represents and what can be considered a long-term relationship, as in sharing a common purpose and set of goals with others, and accordingly have frequent contact and an interchange that creates special bonds as a consequence. This will happen in the light as much as or more than in a physical human existence and is the rule rather than the exception because everyone is busy with many pursuits. Soul‑based beings are free to choose what they do but are not hindered or constrained in the way humans are, to be out of touch with their heritage and have many abilities suppressed and present only in a vestigial form. When possessed of all your faculties and powers, there are quite impressive feats within your reach that become an endless source of delight and fulfillment in your many explorations, many projects, and shared endeavors with like-minded souls when you are in the light.
