DWQA QuestionsCategory: Healing ModalitiesHow effective is the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) for helping people with physical and emotional problems?

The various methods employing tapping on various locations of the body to free energy blockages and obtain physical and emotional relief as a consequence can be of value for shifting things in a way that has a tangible benefit. Even though the effects can be dramatic in some cases, bringing quick release of tension and cessation of chronic pain, the process itself is a general kind of distraction in sending signals through the various pathways and subtle energy networks involving the meridians and the chakra system. The net result, while many times bringing some relief, will usually be short-lived and will not be capable of shifting the karmic underpinnings of the discord for which treatment is being sought. What that means is that oftentimes there will be incomplete healing or a temporary reprieve with the return of symptoms eventually. So tapping can be a useful adjunct, but is not a powerful and deep karmic repair process that can deal with anything. It is worth trying if one is trained in how to go about it. So it is a useful self-help tool for many, but it is not as effective as deep trauma resolution techniques like Holographic Memory Resolution and work done through the divine realm with the deep subconscious mind directly for trauma resolution, belief replacement, and re-installation of soul attributes that are missing or suppressed.
