DWQA QuestionsCategory: Limiting BeliefsIs my client gay because of being molested as a child? Is she made that way or born that way?
Nicola Staff asked 3 years ago
She did not develop this potential because of the molestation, it was something that did trigger an aversion within her to be involved with sexuality of a similar kind, but that was not instrumental in causing her to redirect her energies into something that would not be inherently natural for those reasons alone. This is something that was done to her through a manipulation and has nothing to do with her past history or her character. It is simply that humans are fragile and things can be done to them by the darkness for many, many reasons simply because people are targets of opportunity and get in harm’s way through no wrongdoing on their part, and then things play out accordingly. This is most unfortunate and is particularly difficult when one has been a believer in the divine and wanting a good life, and so on, but there is always a contest of energies and even those minions of the darkness have free will, so there are times when they do get the upper hand. It is part of the ups and downs of life. No one has an untouched, unfettered, and unhindered life, because the darkness is always out and about and will bring harm whenever there is an opportunity. That is what has happened here. The harm that has been done is largely through the judgmental attitudes of people she cares about and the corruption of her belief in the divine as well, knowing deep within she has been wronged with the information she has given and this has resulted in a rift inevitably, in trying to keep her faith in the face of such harsh turns of events. As we have shared with her, this is wholly unnecessary. She can have the life she wants and has many options and will have no harm coming from the divine realm. This has never been the case nor will it in the future. She only must reckon with herself, her inner fears and doubts, and dealing with other humans who, as she knows quite well, are a mixed blessing at times. The art of living is to become strong and maintain that strength in the face of doubts and obstacles put in one’s way. She can do just fine by looking forward to times being better and allowing them to develop by following her heart and where it takes her.
