Unfortunately, these workers are misguided, not seeing the big picture, and assuming too much of their own power. Like all in the New Age Movement who believe they have power to do anything, they are being misled because power flows from the divine and it is by tapping into divine power that humans can truly make things happen including keeping themselves safe. You need a divine friend and compatriot to navigate in your world successfully.
