We like this quote very much because it so beautifully describes the human dilemma. Everything about your existence and your lives contain unanswered questions. There is so much you are in the dark about, so much you cannot experience directly, so much that is denied to you, and so much that has been distorted and corrupted to mislead and misguide, and to diminish your expectations. In such a setting, it is extremely hard to trust in God and have any expectation of assistance. We ourselves marvel many times at how many believers there still are, given all of the negative experiences and the discouragement people are subjected to, forced into lives of mediocrity and unpleasantness, and seeing many times evil triumph over good. What this quotation is saying is that, "Trusting in God has value." Faith is necessary because without faith there can be no trust, or precious little of a strength needed for the fullest possible divine involvement in your life to help you better it in some way. In fact, you can say that, "The greatest trust in God is a product of, and in direct proportion to, the level of faith, rising to the level of strong belief—belief that is unshakable, belief that is confident, and that becomes a pillar you can lean on again and again and will be there for you in the darkest hours." Once there is belief, trust will follow, and then all things are possible if you believe in yourselves as well—that is when we can do our utmost on your behalf and bring miracles to bear and, at a minimum, improve and enhance your life to make it better in many ways. We may not make you superior to others with respect to having a life of abundance, greater talents, beauty, intelligence, or skills, but the purpose of life is not to compete against and triumph over others, but to share with one another in like measure to their contributions and desires for achieving common goals. All can contribute to the extent they are able and have the wherewithal and will not be judged by what they bring to the task, only that they come and are in earnest and devote themselves on behalf of the common good. The hard part is developing faith and trust in us when so much is uncertain, but we are here to give you answers and to make things clearer if you reach out to us. If you can do the first part, to cultivate your belief and trust in us, and reach out to us, we will always answer and do our utmost to help you.
