DWQA QuestionsCategory: Human Lost Soul SpiritsMediums relaying communications from people’s loved ones in the light provide bits and pieces, more like hints and clues about their identity or a particular message they want to come through. In most cases, it is a gesture of love, or a reassurance about something the family members in the living are struggling with, like guilt they didn’t do more to help the departed. Are there rules of engagement for light beings in what they are allowed to convey to those still in the living? What is Creator’s perspective?

Indeed, there are rules and they are quite detailed and strictly enforced through the Law of Karma. Because the latter is not held in abeyance and delayed, as is the case in the physical plane, the consequences of misdeeds will be swift in coming for the light being who breaks a rule and compromises their integrity. So that rarely happens but, at the same time, the light beings know and appreciate why those rules exist and are quite content and happy to live with them because they serve everyone in keeping things honest and making things better on an ongoing basis. There is not a downside in preventing error and misdeeds to go unchecked. You see what happens in your world when discipline is neglected in the face of selfishness and, even worse, evil intentions bubbling up and causing people to cut corners, take advantage of others, and exploit their advantage even at great harm to victims, all done to serve oneself. So given constraints, including the injunction to not prove their existence, and that the intuitive exchange is conclusively and unquestionably real, this puts the light being at a disadvantage, and certainly the medium who is bridging the gap and whose reputation is at stake. This is why most exchanges have a similar flavor, there are many thoughts and expressions of love and gratitude and encouragement in a very general way. Personal characteristics are hinted at, and this often gives a feeling to the family members in the living, that it is truly their departed relative who is conveying the message, and will often be convincing for them. At the same time, the exchange is always supported by Creator, who will give an inner feeling to the recipients they are being touched by the divine, and that will add to the emphasis and the feeling of authenticity, as well as feeling rewarded from arranging the communication in a way an outsider might look at the exchange and be underwhelmed there is not something more profound, more tangible, more specific to prove conclusively it is a particular individual. What prevents that is the rules of engagement, and it is simply a constraint that must be lived with and worked around to whatever extent one can. This takes clever thought to have a workaround strategy to get at specifics; that is sometimes possible to arrange to obtain greater satisfaction, and specifically, to examine loose ends of great importance to the living. For example, why something happened the way it did if there was a suicide or an illness that could not be surmounted, or some history of conflict and the family would like an explanation and a deeper understanding of what went wrong, there might be an outreach from the light that helps with closure and reconciliation. So this has a valuable potential to serve the living as well as the departed because it will have some karmic healing potential.
