DWQA QuestionsCategory: Non-Local ConsciousnessProfound psychic ability can be experienced by many without it being painfully so. Empaths often struggle with having such keen intuitive sensing from being over-stimulated, bombarded with the negative energies of others around them, or whom they tune in to. Is this heightened sensing, through having an only partly controllable urge to take in everything they come across to feel what it’s like, a pre-arranged capability to aid a mission life? Or is it a kind of abnormality due to prior karmic wounding that is being repeated? Why must empaths pay a price for their gift?

The key in answering your question is in the latter characterization, that you label the empathic nature as a gift. That is also a clue to the true nature of the empath and where that comes from. The reality is the empath is a more complete being than the average psychic individual who has intuitive gifts but to a lesser degree. There is some difference in the way the two classes of people operate that will create further challenges for the empath, but that is hard to avoid because the gifts of being empathic will naturally carry a person forward because it is so easy for them to be rewarded for their curiosity, their outreach to learn something intuitively, and do something meaningful with that knowledge and information. Those who do not struggle and have a good control over whether they tune into something beyond the self or not, are all working at a somewhat lesser level of sensitivity. It is safer, it is less stressful, and with fewer pitfalls to be possessing somewhat dulled intuitive sensing capability. So that would seem to have practical advantages, and this is so because many empaths burn out and are so distracted by the likelihood they will become overwhelmed, they do less and less in a purposeful, planful, way to use their gifts but nonetheless can't help sensing things, so the net is more loss than gain. The lucky ones are able to withstand the rigors of being in the torrent of energy they will often be sensing, and the gains they experience in having an exquisite level of detection ability will serve them greatly, indeed. Because being an empath is a gift, we will not take this away. There are many lessons to be learned from having a life as an empath and we believe the value of the learning is worth the inconvenience and even suffering that may be involved. The best way to look at this is the capabilities of the empath are a preview of coming attractions, because one day, all human beings will have such gifts, taken for granted and routine, in returning to light being mode on a permanent basis and having an array of powers unimaginable to human beings of today experiencing life in a diminished capacity as a physical human.
