The recently deceased Stanford Emeritus Professor Dr. Philip Zimbardo wrote the book, The Lucifer Effect: Understanding How Good People Turn Evil. Dr. Zimbardo is famous for his 1971 “Stanford Prison Experiment” that he was compelled to abruptly terminate as it quickly got out of hand and turned into a dangerously oppressive and health-threatening situation for the experiments’ participants after only a week. In the experiment, the prison guards became overwhelmingly sadistically abusive and cruel, and the prisoners became shockingly powerless and submissive to the point of losing their objectivity and grip on reality and actually believing they were real prisoners and not just participants in an “experiment.” The findings of this experiment were deeply disturbing and shocking on many levels. Zimbardo wrote, “One of the dominant conclusions of the Stanford Prison Experiment is that the pervasive yet subtle power of a host of situational variables can dominate an individual’s will to resist.” He continued, “We see how a range of research participants … have come to conform, comply, obey, and be readily seduced into doing things they could not imagine doing when outside those situational force fields.” Can Creator tell us how this MOCK prison with randomly chosen guards and prisoners almost immediately took on the atmosphere and oppressiveness of some of the world’s worst prisons and concentration camps? Zimbardo wrote, “We were surprised that situational pressures could overcome most of these healthy young men so quickly and so extremely.” Is this widespread and disturbing proclivity, to quickly slip into either extreme perpetrator or extreme victim roles, an inherent flaw in the human makeup? What can Creator tell us?

This is a study in karmic potential and karmic pitfalls. What you are seeing on display in the Stanford Prison Experiment outcome is a very discomforting reality that humans truly are walking wounded, as we have commented many times, and you bear not only the scars but the open wounds, still. You have been suppressed and subjugated all through history by interlopers controlling you from behind the scenes, acting as puppet masters to keep you, by turns, complacent or ramped up in a passionate zealousness that becomes at times uncontrollable and leading to mayhem. The interloper extraterrestrials could teach you everything you need to know about the art of persuasion because they are superior in doing this. They orchestrate much of what happens on your planet individually and collectively. They are minding the store, and by that it is not meaning that they tend to your business but to theirs. They are here to disrupt commerce, to disrupt growth and learning, and to disrupt human progress. You know well the consequences of trauma events that can change a person for life, making them forever on edge, startling easily, and ever vigilant as symptoms of post-traumatic stress, not to mention the many functional consequences that chronic stress will do to the human body, mind, and spirit.

If you were inventing humans from scratch, you might look at the current situation and see this as proof that humans have a fatal flaw, a fatal shortcoming, making them too readily manipulated to carry out misdeeds. But speaking as your Creator, we can tell you this was not an error at the factory on display during the Stanford Prison Experiment but the consequences of subjugation, manipulation, torment, and suffering. Your deep subconscious mind has come to expect you will be ordered about, you will be forced to do things not of your liking, and expected to follow orders or face consequences. You have been given such a choice many, many times. It is an almost daily occurrence, in fact, through deep subconscious programming, and is going on 24/7 all around the world. It is not only those in the news as victims who are suffering, it is everyone because all are given a talking to and threatened repeatedly, on a regular schedule, to keep you on your toes and subservient so people do as they're told, and this is part of your inherent culture that is universal and deeply historical as well.

What you see around you, in the huge variety of human experience and various outcomes, is allowed to happen and that, in part, reflects the normal inner desire for soul expansion. People are quite willing to launch in and work to make things happen. There are strong inner drives to do so but, at the same time, with all the wounds and the scars that have built up, there are much narrower expectations than would otherwise be the case. You are subjected to bad news and a kind of verbal assault, a barrage of criticisms and tongue lashings to intimidate and keep you humble. We have told you that the deep subconscious is the largest part of the mind and, even though it is outside reach of conscious awareness, that does not mean it cannot influence things that happen. So there is input from the deep subconscious when push comes to shove and there is a sense of danger from imminent harm in whatever form that might take—an external event involving other humans or an interior assault from haranguing interlopers. There will be an emotional reaction to adopt a defensive posture or carry out whatever directives are accompanying the negativity bombarding you. It could be to find someone to punish, take part in a loud and heated demonstration, or any number of specific actions often designed to worsen things.

So what you are seeing with the Stanford Prison Experiment was conduct of individuals accustomed to following orders that take them outside their comfort zone. But unfortunately, that comfort zone is malleable and, in part, will have to stretch in response to something the deep subconscious sees as the greatest danger of the moment, which is usually noncompliance with a direct order given as an injunction for saving your hide. In most cases, the extraterrestrials are very clever, they do not order people about, they light a fire under them that gets results much quicker so they can watch you jumping to their tune without having a test of wills and the boredom of a kind of arm wrestling. If you are confronted too directly on a conscious level, the deep subconscious knows it cannot win and that is a leading diagnostic indicator of the abnormality of your world.
