Was the book by G. Edward Griffen, World Without Cancer, a meaningful representation of Vitamin B17 (Laetrile) benefits as a valid treatment for cancer?

This is a reasonably accurate summary of anecdotal evidence for the beneficial effects of vitamin B17 as a cancer treatment based on a compendium of such accounts back in the 1970s. As such, the record was incomplete and the knowledge was attacked and subsequently suppressed through the workings of the Extraterrestrial Alliance who discourage promising avenues of research on a regular basis to hinder scientific progress. So, in and of itself, it is not sufficient as proof of concept but does provide useful hints about what happened and why it was so intriguing to those with open minds, because there were potential benefits to be had, and so this became a missed opportunity.
