DWQA QuestionsCategory: Limiting BeliefsWould it be helpful to think of learning the art of “intention shaping and energizing,” or prayer, in the same way a quadriplegic needs to acquire a whole set of otherwise unneeded skills to live a life everyone else takes for granted? We have been compromised and debilitated and disabled mentally by the interlopers almost to the same degree a quadriplegic is physically disabled. In other words, are we as mentally disabled compared to our light being selves, as a quadriplegic is to their pre-injury physical selves? And would we be served by looking to those who overcome such adversities for inspiration?

We would say that whatever imagery or metaphorical representation of a challenge that encompasses the current situation you find yourself in where there is a situation that is lacking something and you are wanting more to happen, in whatever way you can motivate yourself to achieve an expansion, to rise above the moment and summon a wherewithal to extend your reach, expand your horizons, and envision a greater state of being will be a worthwhile exercise. This, after all, is the basis of all learning and growth. Many lose their zeal and dedication along the way, particularly when they have reached a plateau where their life is very much a routine and it is refreshing and rewarding to simply relax for a time and coast as a kind of reward for all the hard work it took to get to that point—that does not mean growth and learning need to end or it is appropriate to ignore opportunities to further the being. Life can be a continued search for more and better ways to think and be—that is the intention of creation, to unleash forces that over time are unstoppable because they are designed to seek out new possibilities in an endless quest. Most people settle for less and live mediocre lives because they have been manipulated to become complacent, to be dimmed down so they lack curiosity and an inner drive to even seek novelty. That is a loss because it is a denial of the soul which is designed to have endless yearnings because of the very makeup defining who you are and the particular passions you find intriguing and would normally wish to satisfy in seeking answers, a widening of experience, and greater levels of achievement across the board. This is the passion expressed by the great innovators and the great thinkers for whom every day is an exciting search for the discovery of new ideas and new observations that will answer questions and raise many more. Those who are actively seeking something never get bored and their life will never be dull; that is what life should be and if you find it is not, it is worth pondering why that is and what might be done to reopen yourself.
