DWQA QuestionsCategory: Human Lost Soul SpiritsRecently, Karl checked with Creator to determine if an early 1970s book created by automatic writing, The Book of James by psychic Susy Smith, was, in fact, dictated by William James, who transitioned to spirit in 1910. Wikipedia says this about William James, “William James was an American philosopher and psychologist. The first educator to offer a psychology course in the United States, he is considered to be one of the leading thinkers of the late 19th century, one of the most influential philosophers and is often dubbed the ‘father of American psychology.'” Creator said, “This was an accurate and meaningful channeling from the attributed source, so it can be relied on to represent the information conveyed in that body of work.” James, through Susy Smith via automatic writing, explained his motives for channeling the book: “I was interested in psychical research for most of my life. … As I grew older and more cynical I dismissed (discussions of life after death) and approached psychical research from the scientific point of view. Although I saw a good deal of evidence for survival … at no time did I conclude anything more definitive than, ‘I remain uncertain and await more facts.'” However, after James’s death, and through Susy Smith, he says this: “I have acquired more facts now and am happy to impart them to the world. My advanced awareness (from a lifetime of psychical research) prepared me for my transition, and my passing was so much easier than that of most of my contemporaries that I very soon came to realize the value of such knowledge. Because I am aware, then, of how important this information can be to one at the moment of death and even for a long time afterward, I am especially eager to offer the facts for public perusal. I am not alone in my efforts. A great many over here are determined to get the truth about survival to you. We know that the lives of all those now on Earth will change for the better when they know with certainty that there is no death—that they will endure in a life of continuity.” What is Creator’s perspective?

This was, indeed, a heartfelt effort and had our support for him to be a spokesperson in response to an inquiry backed by loving concern for the plight of humanity, and wanting to truly understand what the great beyond consists of and how to make one's way in the afterlife, given all of the preceding fear-based promotion of Satan and the Devil and going to hell as an automatic condemnation for so many transgressions commonly occurring amongst the population. Historically, the fear of death was greatly ramped up by the fear of going to hell, the fear of divine judgment to assign some outsized punishment, if not banishment, to a place of fire and brimstone, perhaps other penalties and dire consequences more severe than a human prison. That fear alone has kept many people from returning to the heavenly realm upon their passing. So William James was giving sympathetic personal eyewitness testimony about how his thoughtful consideration about what might lie ahead as he neared the end of his life, helped him to reconcile with the rough edges of his experiences and adopt an outlook that was open to possibility and not one of pessimism and doom—that is half the battle. The key issue at hand, in making one's transition, is that human beings have the greatest say in all that happens to them. You are in charge of your own life, just as you are in charge collectively of the world entirely. We have a role as consultant and as a support system when called upon, but that requires active human initiative to make heartfelt requests for assistance, and there are many rules involved about what it takes for obtaining a successful divine intervention to assist an individual or the world as a whole for that matter. Your free will privileges to decide where you go, what you do, what to think, how to act and behave, what to believe, and the outcomes that flow, inevitably, from such choices are yours, and this self-determination does not end with the death of the body. What came before, up to that point, will have much to do with where you go next and all that happens. People view the divine as a kind of "ultimate nanny" overseeing things and providing many safeguards including miracles to save the day. Much of this ends up as wishful thinking because it is simply, in many cases, a selfish desire, if only in the sense of wanting something for nothing, when, in fact, there needs to be some kind of interface with participation energetically from the human side, more in the way of a contract agreement, an investment of initiative and energy and conscious will from a human making an entreaty. Something coming from a passive supplicant, helpless and distraught, will receive our sympathy, but that yearning will not mount a divine intervention because wanting and needing are a passive consequence of disengagement when what is needed for a divine intervention is always a partnership, an active step taken by a human being, or a group of human beings, wanting something to happen and specifying what is needed in order to give us human instructions. That is what we can respond to, and provide a divine-level solution many times, because we have a sufficient starting point to bridge that gap. When people die who have a history of resignation, becoming helpless over the years, they will not be in good enough shape to navigate when they lose the body, including a brain to think with. The inner wherewithal from instinct having an intuitive link to the divine, which helps your higher self send inspiration and guidance your way at times, especially in response to your entreaties, will be so impaired that they will be cut off and unable to respond to light callers sent from the divine realm to reach out and escort them, ideally, to the divine realm—a true return home at long last! In other words, their vibration is so low they will not see the divine beings coming to greet them, just as humans in the physical cannot be witness to divine presence. They might see an angel in disguise appearing as a human being, but will not see it as an exalted figure because they are looking with human-level faculties. So the bottom line is that human wherewithal and spiritual alignment reinforced through growth, learning, and skill-based efforts will have much to do with what human spirits experience and can act on to complete a successful transition for returning home to the heavenly realm.
