The entire question of potential value versus harm of cannabis is obscured by general ignorance that it reduces energetic defenses against spirit possession. When using cannabis, the THC impairs the auric field and dark spirits can simply move in and take up residence unimpeded. That can have a host of adverse consequences, depending on individual vulnerability. So anything from mild anxiety to clinical depression to delusional thinking and psychotic symptoms, even full-blown schizophrenia, can develop because of what spirit meddlers are able to do to impair thinking and corrupt inner beliefs as well. They are expert at creating delusional thought patterns and in training the mind to perseverate so there is a looping of thoughts focused on, over and over again. That is very evident in cases of obsessive-compulsive disorder which takes advantage of the same potential for an uncontrollable mental focus and repetition. It is one thing to have an occasional dark thought, but when it is indulged again and again and again, it becomes a person's reality and will not only be felt to be real, it will carve in strong beliefs about the importance of those very thoughts as needing attention and potential action, as that is suggested by whatever the hallucinations or delusional concepts represent to the individual.
So these are among the most serious and maddening aberrant behaviors therapists struggle to help people recover from. It is sad to see that the technology for magnifying the effects of cannabis through concentrating THC and delivering it effectively to achieve high blood levels and brain levels has worsened things, but this is entirely predictable because it is a biochemical that undermines safety, and in those individuals especially vulnerable, the consequences can be disastrous. It is no accident that the government watchdogs early along saw the danger signs and established harsh laws and penalties attempting to stamp out the use of cannabis. What has changed is interloper manipulation of governments to become more laissez-faire by ignoring existing laws, and then most recently, changing the laws to remove penalties and restrictions more and more widely.
There is a sound reason for preventing widespread and excessive intake of THC, in particular, because of the harm it causes to interfere with the mind: the efficiency of memory storage and recall being disrupted, with many impairments of judgment, and encouragement of complacency, as happens routinely with any narcotic that creates a feel-good experience and numbs unpleasantness. Life has many demands and many difficulties, so there is need for balance. Aside from ritual use of such substances, life's most critical functions and challenges are best met by a sharp mind and keen awareness of all of the variables and factors needing to be considered in the choice of action and effective follow-through, and those attributes will be blunted when people get high, even on marijuana. So it is much like alcohol in that regard. It offers recreational pleasure but will not truly add measurably to personal performance in a meaningful way for things in life that count, and that is why it is being allowed and even promoted further, to undermine humanity in yet another way.
