DWQA QuestionsCategory: PrayerA practitioner asks: “Is there some way our taking charge could embolden us in our personal prayer requests? Boldness seems to be the key. As you said, it’s a matter of who is taking what role in the divine partnership. Is it a difference between politely requesting versus commanding? If Creator says, ‘That is impossible,’ to a suggestion for a request to be added to the LHP, but then it turns out it can be overturned by human decree, what is the key that opens that lock? Is it simply assuming command? Recognizing we have the authority? Is that the whole thing?” What can Creator tell us?

There are two levels of consideration here. The first is the level of authority needed to interact effectively with the divine and have a request carried out thoroughly and effectively. That is not simply the case that you must be commanding in order to be listened to. This goes back to all of the requisites for a successful petition for a divine intervention that is put into play and carried through to an effective resolution of the problem at hand and, for that, you know the component parts. There must be belief in the divine, belief in the self and one's standing with the divine to call forth a divine intervention without reservation or limitation. There must also be a clear awareness and understanding, an ability to define the nature of the problem, not just that someone is suffering but a more detailed understanding of the quandary, its origin and nature, who and what might be involved energetically, and what needs to happen in order to change things for the better. And, finally, there needs to be enough understanding of how the divine realm carries out an intervention, the tools it might use which are most appropriate to the task at hand as well as how to compound the leveraging of additional energies to amplify what is being offered, by way of human intention, through a coming together of other beings of light and beings in the physical who have similar needs and yearnings with a harvesting of intentions, and so on. This level of complexity and energetic involvement cannot be tied to a simple prayer request effectively, and that is the differentiation of a prayer versus a healing session, the launching of a prayer must rely on divine energy to act on the request. There is a need for belief, and the greater the understanding of the need and the way the request could be acted on is all to the good to include in the prayer itself, and hence the evolution of Mega Prayers to begin to approach an authentic healing session as a kind of hybrid next best thing. We would say simply that a prayer is a prayer and a healing is a healing. You cannot make a prayer do more than a prayer is able to mount beyond a certain level of leveraging of human intention. It will never have the power and reach and depth of protocol sessions designed to be comprehensive and thorough and take into account all the many variables, and also involve an intensive application of intention for an extensive period of time to add the discernment, specificity, passion, loving concern, and high-level knowledge of a healer.
