DWQA QuestionsCategory: Problems in SocietyA viewer asks: “Mobility data from cars and cellphones behaves like a fingerprint. The real danger isn’t collection of data by manufacturers—it’s what happens when that data is reused, combined, and reinterpreted later. The data can reveal: home/work locations, socioeconomic status, social relationships, etc. This secondary use turns mobility data into a long-term control tool because its meaning and power expand every time it is resold. People might avoid certain places, limit their movements, self-censor activities or purchases, etc. This creates a voluntary limit to movement, liberty, and association. Is this the intended purpose, or is the data fed into ET AI systems for better control?” What can Creator tell us?

This, indeed, is a dark potential. It is not yet a serious concern in and of itself to what extent the ET AI systems know their habits. It will be more a worry regarding human AI systems and what human overseers and manipulators choose to do with such knowledge handed to them through the lifestyle, in embracing harmful technologies as people are doing increasingly, not realizing where things are heading. There is a potential for the ability of technology to bring people together, helping to solve the problem that has been created through having that enhanced ability to overreach in the first place. Time will tell to what extent humans can be awakened and informed in ways to develop a true understanding of what they are missing and what is needed to find their way back.
