Frances Bacon said: “The covetous man cannot so properly be said to possess wealth, as that may be said to possess him.” Bacon is suggesting that covetousness is a form of obsession, and perhaps even a form of possession. Can Creator share with us how interlopers, spirit attachments, and even mind control manipulation can aggravate and take advantage of this proclivity, this vulnerability?

This is an outstanding example of a quote reflecting much deeper truth in a subtle but quite accurate fashion. The surrendering of a moral stance to be strong in the face of temptation, to limit one's passion and desire to honor the needs and rights of others as well as the self, are basic characteristics of divinity. When that goes by the wayside by the covetous individual focused so narrowly on something like wealth, to the exclusion of feeling compassion and a heartfelt stirring within for the downtrodden, they are neglecting their soul and their true origins and in the bargain are possessed by a narrowness of thought and desire that will keep them, in effect, on the dark side when what is needed is the illumination brought by loving concern and a basic and healthy respect for the needs of others, which is a form of love as well, in honoring their worth as fellow beings. The fact that a state of covetousness is stepping away from the divine, and thus represents a weakening, is the reason that such a shortcoming might be, in fact, a consequence of a manipulation by a possessing spirit, knowing it will get the host into trouble and lead to suffering. The dark spirits want such things to happen because the more their host suffers, the more darker forms of energy are available they can siphon away for themselves. Similarly, the extraterrestrial interlopers play many, many games to raise unnatural excess desire in a human victim, knowing it will become a preoccupation and a kind of obsession that may well backfire and sideline them in their life in some way. The interlopers are always looking for ways to drag people down and make them suffer. One of the best ways to do so is to raise them up in some way, if only in their expectations, and then pull the rug out leaving them distraught and in a state of profound disappointment and regret. Such selfish motivations as covetousness, if triggered by an extraterrestrial manipulation through manipulating the subconscious mind, for example, by an extraterrestrial psychic, can provide just the kind of motivation to get someone to harm a targeted individual that the extraterrestrials want to see suffer, as well as harming the minion they motivate to covet something, and then act inappropriately because they are cajoled and pushed to satisfy their passion. In many cases, this results in multiple victims.
