This was the Extraterrestrial Alliance having a field day by coupling an outsized technologically enhanced winter storm with direct energetic attacks on the environment—the trees, in particular, being targets. So this was a kind of target practice and an inside joke as often is the case with human misfortune being engineered through a technological manipulation by the extraterrestrials. They know human beings are in the dark as to their involvement and presence on the scene of natural disasters of all kinds, and relish their position of power and influence as they tower over humans who they see as lowly and inferior and delight in tormenting.
