DWQA QuestionsCategory: Limiting BeliefsIf one has a simplistic root belief upon which a substantial portion of their self appraisal and worldview is built and supported, is there any escape from that dilemma other than having that root belief utterly shattered? How does this represent a healing need, and how does the divine realm go about healing this dilemma in the gentlest manner possible?

Here you are getting to the heart of things, that people have many beliefs that do not serve them well and, as such, are a faulty distorted view of the world and their place within it. Many repeated behaviors and habits are, in essence, belief-based and will continue to follow the same pattern indefinitely. Even when there is a strong motivation to break out of a rut one is in, it may be impossible to do so because it is the beliefs that constrain the person and limit what is doable even through their own free will choice wanting to head in a new direction. The highest and best way to deal with such a dilemma is to request divine assistance, but even here it is difficult to accomplish. Because of the rules of engagement, you are in charge of your life and not us. We must always defer to human choices. Even when your choice is self-destructive, it must be honored, at least with respect to not allowing outright removal summarily, simply because we know it will remove an impediment and you want that to happen desperately. In that context, that belief deep within you will win out because it has free will privileges just like your conscious thoughts. So the divine must work from the outside in towards the middle to accomplish an eventual shift in belief-based thinking. This can take a good deal of time but is only possible to do via divine assistance, and this makes a very strong and compelling case for humans to engage in a partnership with the divine to seek such healing assistance with their lives, to make them richer and more rewarding and less likely to end in misery and failure because of self-limitations that are healable.
