This is at once simple and profound in meaning and scope. What people do not realize is not only that are we a loving God, but we are the Source of Love. When humans suffer, it is because of a lack of love in their lives, and this will automatically be experienced when people become distant from us, disconnected, corrupted in ways that their vibration is lowered and they cannot relate to us, even as a concept, because their thoughts are dark, their aim is low and not high, and they become increasingly concerned with low-level objectives and strategies that will further corrupt them and contaminate their thinking to reduce their effectiveness and their ability to feel love, because it is our energy and a divine-level perspective. This is why giving up on God, becoming an atheist, is tragic because it will eventually doom an individual to a loveless existence. This has happened to entire civilizations again and again in your galaxy, starting with doubt and seemingly a competition between serving the self versus serving us, they became more self-centered and, as a consequence, more disconnected from us. This restricted the flow of love and light we were sending them and, lacking that nourishment, their darkening doomed them to become inhuman, as not only atheists, but psychopaths lacking a conscience and the very ability to feel love or compassion, let alone be loving towards others. That is a high price to pay for becoming a disbeliever. Many times people lose their faith because of their suffering. This we understand, but the consequences are the same, when they are distanced from us and disconnected they will suffer and become impaired.
