DWQA QuestionsCategory: MetaphysicsWhat is the difference between “life force energy” fed directly from the divine, and the energy we need from ingesting food? We’ve heard stories that it is possible for enlightened adepts to actually survive on little to no food at all, getting all the energy they need directly from the divine. Was needing food always part of the divine plan for physical humans, or a result of corruption introduced by the fallen angelics and extraterrestrial interlopers?

The need for a dependence on food was always part of Creator’s plan to have a group of physical beings to experience all of the ramifications of the physical environment as you have come to experience it yourselves, that the Earth supplies many needed materials, energies, and constituents that have many positive benefits when ingested or used to rework into shelter and tools, and so on. You were intended to be physical beings needing physical energy from other physical materials, including other life forms, as a learning opportunity when competition for survival competes with other life forms. This is the ultimate dilemma in ethics that an organism must face: "To prevail I must harm other life forms to take in their energy to keep going." How one goes about doing that carries within it many potential pitfalls karmically as well as opportunities to be a good steward of the environment, to be fair and humane in how one exploits other life forms. There are many gradations here in conduct and standards that can be applied so there is a respect for the environment and its husbandry to keep it as pristine as one can and continuing to provide abundance through propagating of life forms without being threatened with extinction, and so on. So this creates many opportunities for important lessons to be learned and is the purpose of the Divine Human Enterprise starting out in the physical plane. As light beings, you do not use food at all—that is old business for you. What is new is having to compete as a physical being in a physical realm. It is the novelty of existence for you and therein provides many opportunities to learn about ethical conduct and a love-based existence under challenging circumstances. The types of energy obtained from food are not the same as life force energy per se. They contain essentially chemical constituents that provide calories to generate a source of heat within and to use the energy to carry out needed functions like mechanical movements of the digestive organs, the ability to use the muscles for needed feats of strength, locomotion, and so on. The issue of being dependent or not on the ingestion of energetic foodstuffs is a complicated discussion, but we can confirm that there are individuals who have transcended the need for food ingestion because they have been able to transform energy through their consciousness to provide the needs of the body via life force energy and other forms of energy in the environment such as sunshine and the atmosphere to provide oxygen, and so on. This is not where humans are headed. Long before you learn to transcend the need for physical sustenance, you will be ascending into higher vibrations anyway, and will once again be living as a light being but in a higher dimension still, so there will not be a long-term need for such feats. So they represent an interesting illustration of the power of consciousness but have no larger meaning in terms of your soul progression and the evolution of human society as a whole.
