Can you elaborate on the importance of the sacrificial body and blood of Jesus, and what was the importance of the precursors of sacrificing birds or lambs without blemish?”

You are mixing apples and oranges here with the legacy of animal sacrifice tying the drawing of blood to sacred ritual being a time-honored practice. Having been introduced by the interlopers over the millennia, it is only natural people of the biblical era were subject to such imagery and natural inclinations. So it was something of a historical influence for Jesus Christ to draw on the imagery in conveying the ritual the disciples could use to further strengthen their bonds to him and the divine cause. None of that prior history was relating anything of true material or metaphysical significance other than as a ritual creating strong intentions with respect to consciousness and its workings. That is the goal of all mind control manipulation, to manipulate the conscious thoughts, feelings, and cultivation of corrupting beliefs within the minds of human beings. How that is done may take advantage of things like animal sacrifice, drinking the blood of other human beings, whether obtained willingly or not, in order to make the occasion and the actions taken carry strong energy of intention, and that will happen automatically for anything involving pain or discomfort. But there is no magic involved. It is simply the workings of consciousness, always, for any ritual that has an impact of any sort. These are relics of history and not something taught from a divine perspective. They are a carryover from the history of extraterrestrial manipulations.
