And in case anyone thought Abraham Lincoln needing a human channel to talk to other spirits was a head scratcher, consider an entire company of spirit actors putting on an elaborate morality play for earthbound spirits via a lone human channeler!! In the book, Thirty Years Among the Dead, Dr. Carl Wickland wrote, “For many years, upon various occasions, a symbolical morality play has been given through Mrs. Wickland by a group of spirit actors. They are twelve in number, eleven actors and a director, all of whom were Russian-Slavonic when in earth life. The play is given in the Russian-Slavonic tongue, a language which Mrs. Wickland herself has never heard, but which is spoken perfectly through her by these actors, as has been stated by different persons, witnessing the play, who are familiar with the language.” These spirit actors were quoted as saying, “We give this play in the spirit world for the earthbound spirits, many of whom do not realize they are dead to their earth life. We find them in the sphere next to the Earth (the ‘outer darkness’ described in question one?) often in a semi-sleep. Preceding the play we have music by excellent musicians; this wakens the earthbound spirits, one after the other. They rise slowly, not realizing where they are, but the music brings them a little understanding of the higher life.” What is Creator’s perspective of this extraordinary undertaking of a joint spirit and living human undertaking to awaken and inspire earthbound spirits?

This question, those who are listening to this channeling may begin to understand, is answered through the same explanation as the last answer we have given here. This strange-seeming play performed for the benefit of lost soul spirits in limbo is necessary because of the rules of engagement. This is a dramatic illustration of the dilemma of human beings, whether in the physical still, among the living, or having passed but perhaps not yet ready to ascend to the light and who become lost on their way and unable to navigate. As we have said, the divine realm cannot simply pluck them out and raise them up without something happening from their end. They are not ready. They will likely not even see light callers coming from the heavenly realm to escort them. That is the problem they face at the very outset on their passing. Many human beings leaving the body in spirit form are too low a vibration to see the light callers or interact with them. Because of the rules of engagement, the light callers have this limitation, not because they are somehow lower-level light beings or less divine in some respect from being 98 pound spiritual weaklings, so to speak, it is because in many ways they are bound and gagged by the rules of engagement to limit how assertive they can be in how they approach a lost soul spirit to entice them into the beginnings of a partnership, allowing then a subsequent guiding of a journey to the higher realms. So this strange playacting is a way of creating something to get noticed by the light callers and, as they point out, they use a musical accompaniment to help raise the vibration of the lost soul spirits they are trying to entice and encourage. If you think about the physical human world and make an analogy to a social worker charged with helping homeless drug addicts accompany them to a shelter, what if their orders were, "You are not allowed to explain what is possible. All you can do is sing to them and see if they follow you." How effective do you think that might be in cleaning up the streets and helping the helpless? So this nicely illustrates what we have told you about the rules of engagement, that it is a tremendous limitation for even lofty beings, and this is why, again, there is a need for human involvement. What humans do is what counts when it comes to the physical realm because humans have been put in charge and they must be in the lead. This is why when humans think of a practical working solution for something it can often be given divine support and reinforcement, because then the Almighty is following a human lead in knowing what will help and in requesting that assistance, in particular, to make the invitation necessary for the divine to become involved. This is why having a spiritual awakening can be so powerful, because it is enabling in many ways, directly and indirectly, and will lead to many, many future positive outcomes to the extent individual vibrations are raised to make people more effective spiritually. And, at the very core, that is what people consist of—spiritual energy, the flow of basic life force—it is a gift from Creator and it has many frequencies but, like an electric current flowing to a home, the people inhabiting that dwelling choose how they use that power source or not; they might ignore its availability or be unaware of it; they might use it for quite simple, mundane tasks, but nothing that brings growth and understanding, a learning about the broader world, as with having access to communication devices, and so on. People will remain at the level of awareness they are capable of until something happens as a catalyst to shift their thinking in a new way. Human beings themselves must become enlightened and must become the leaders for their fellow beings because the divine realm is simply not allowed to do that unilaterally.
