Dr. Elaine Pagels, a Professor of Religion at Princeton University, wrote a book called The Origins of Satan. She wrote: “In the Hebrew Bible, as in mainstream Judaism to this day, Satan never appears as Western Christendom has come to know him, as the leader of an ‘evil empire,’ an army of hostile spirits who make war on God and humankind alike.” She further writes, “In biblical sources, the Hebrew term the satan describes an adversarial role. Although Hebrew storytellers as early as the sixth century B.C.E. occasionally introduced a supernatural character whom they called the satan, what they meant was any one of the angels sent by God for the specific purpose of blocking or obstructing human activity.” We know Creator has said that a literal “Satan” does not exist, but is rather more of a literary composite figure. We know the fallen Archangel Lucifer is often thought of as “Satan,” but if indeed they are synonymous, why wouldn’t Creator just say that Satan was simply another name for Lucifer? How much of the crucifixion narrative can be directly attributed to Lucifer himself? Or is he given too much credit and we need to look beyond Lucifer for the leaders of the ‘evil empire’ as Professor Pagels characterized the real adversary in the crucifixion narrative? What can Creator tell us?

There is much confusion which has persisted throughout the ages, starting from prehistorical times to the present day, about who is doing what to whom, and especially God's role in everything, whether active or passive. Much is attributed to us, as being the Divine Source of All That Is, but by human scholars, writers, prophets, and in many, many cases, false prophets, assuming in some way, for whatever reason, they have the inside track on the truth when, in fact, everyone in physical existence is largely cut off from wider knowledge than what they gain during their physical life, starting from an infant onward. And that is back to the problem of the human dilemma being the life is spent in a sea of ignorance among everyone else, living by hand-me-down versions of folklore and divine prophecy, a mix of truth and fiction, and mostly superficial at best, when truthful. We have gone on the record, through the channelings of Get Wisdom, to say unequivocally there is no übervillain known as Satan who has a God-level power enabling it to arm-wrestle with us and vie for power and control over the universe and beyond. That is entirely a fictional perspective. The idea of Satan was pressed into service directly as a consequence of the rise of evil in your galaxy, which happened when we relaxed the oversight of the Law of Karma to allow greater free agency and free will, and people drifted away from faith, becoming more and more isolated from us, and eventually began to disbelieve altogether. New beings created and brought into service of the divine, to help remind those who came before of our existence and the importance of striving to be in divine alignment, were met with harassment and genocide-level annihilation again and again by those who had become evil and beyond the pale, seeing advocates of religion as simply a political danger to the established order in a galaxy where power and control were viewed as the ultimate goal and privilege one could aspire to obtain. So what you see in the rise of evil is the sum total of many, many corrupted beings banding together in common cause out of ignorance and self-serving interests to support their own personal betterment at the expense of everyone else. This is what becomes of people who lose their link to the light, they become selfish and then narcissistic, and then ultimately devoid altogether of the ability to love, feel compassion, and have any spiritual notions whatsoever because it all flows from love to begin with. Such beings are like the Emperor Caligula, Genghis Khan, Adolf Hitler, the savage and quite bestial tyrants only wanting personal power and control to manipulate and control all around them. Being hollow, the psychopath lacks any kind of inner core of substance and has only ego as a way of propping themselves up, so whatever rewards the ego will be sought and exercised with fervor and at the expense of others being dominated and controlled in the process. The rise of evil began with the fall from grace of Lucifer and his cohort of angelics who followed his example, and their desire for more personal say in things, more personal power, took them out of divine alignment and allowed that fall from grace to happen. It was, in effect, self-chosen and ended in their banishment from heaven. The challenge for humanity now is to deal with the dual threat of these dark spirits as well as physical beings out of divine alignment and seeking to destroy anyone in their way.
