Being unable to lead, we cannot direct or correct you in a vague way that is open-ended without addressing a human source as a starting point or a precise description of something, whether in error or not. But we can reassure you that you are not missing the key to understanding Jesus Christ's significance and influence as a spiritual force for good. That flows from us, not from anything learned as a youth, especially so because it is, in fact, the case that Jesus was a walk-in, that the original soul born as the baby Jesus was someone else, and that soul handed over the body to Jesus Christ following the baptism that took place as recounted in the gospels. This is why it was such a tremendous event, not only symbolically as an example of undergoing a ritual to make a commitment to God and move beyond what came before in one's life and start a new chapter of faith and devotion to higher principles and goals to live a life in divine alignment.
In the case of Jesus Christ, that was his true birth because it marked his first appearance on the Earth, stepping into that body surrendered to him by the departing spirit and, given that he was configured within the light to be a transformational figure, his mission life was planned and he had an unusual openness to communication with us all along the way. And that, plus his energetic makeup to imbue him with divine energy that literally radiated from him and was seen as light by many, gave him a greater wherewithal than the average human being, and this is why he was viewed as being God on Earth. It was not the sum total of us that was present but an unfiltered, unhindered, unhampered extension of our energy and consciousness to a degree that was unprecedented and has not happened since. This is the true meaning of Christ described as being the product of a virgin birth, not that he was born to a virgin as a baby, but instead was born without having an act of procreation unique to him through bypassing that step as a walk-in. This was done to shield him from danger in being recognized as special while a helpless infant. Coming in as an adult, he hit the ground running and was able to begin his work quite quickly without the hazards of growing up in an uncertain world in which he would likely have been targeted heavily and killed before he could begin his ministry.
So we discuss this at the risk of stepping on toes, but we can tell you there is no reason for fault finding or regret on the part of the faithful who believe in the Blessed Virgin and the Miracle of a Virgin Birth. It is still literally correct that Mother Mary gave birth, in effect, to Jesus Christ without a direct act of birthing a second infant, and Jesus Christ himself came into life as an incarnated human in a miraculous fashion as a walk-in.
