DWQA QuestionsCategory: KarmaMy client never got his career going, and became a stay-at-home dad by default, as his spouse became the breadwinner. Now that he is over forty, what is holding him back from getting his career going again, and how can we help him?

This is an unfortunate legacy of his karma and has been an overhang all the way along, and a major factor in the seeming slow pace of decision-making and his overall progress at various junctures, where it would have been appropriate for him to launch something that could lead somewhere and get him going and fully engaged. Another major factor is that he is a targeted individual, and that is particularly pernicious in draining his energy, because that is the game being played, a constant rainstorm of negativity. The sun is never out, there are always clouds and bouts of thunder and lightning going on at the deep subconscious level. This is cleverly timed to, in effect, hem him in. So it is like having a wild, high-spirited animal in a pen, but every time it goes towards the fence to make a leap to freedom, a bolt of lightning will crash nearby to spook it and make it retreat. After a while with such conditioning, it will simply give up and never try to make a leap at all, in any direction. He is learning a false lesson from life, in one sense, but that is only according to criteria of an outside observer who has no awareness of what he is dealing with internally. We are doing our best to moderate these influences but, as you know, this is difficult given the rules of engagement. So time will tell whether he can break out on his own. We will do all we can to support it happening.
